Habarana/Anuradhapura

After having early breakfast, you will commence your journey by climbing Sigiriya Rock Fortress.

Sigiriya Rock fortress is one of the most valuable historical monuments of Sri Lanka. The fortress complex includes remnants of a ruined palace, surrounded by an extensive network of fortifications, vast gardens, ponds, canals, alleys and fountains.

After climbing completed, you will visit one of our ancient city Anuradhapura.

Anuradhapura is one of the ancient cities in Sri Lanka, well known for its ruins depicting early Sri Lankan civilization. Anuradhapura was earlier the capital of the Island and most of the Kings who ruled Sri Lanka resided in this vast city. The city is now named as a world heritage site by UNESCO.

Habarana/Polonnaruwa

After having delicious breakfast, you will visit your journey to Polonnaruwa.

Polonnaruwa is the 2nd largest city in north central province. Today the ancient city of Polonnaruwa remains one of the best planned Archeological relic sites in the country. The ancient city of Polonnaruwa has been declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO.

After completing Polonnaruwa city tour, you will travel to a village called Hiriwadunna. Here you will enjoy a typical Sri Lankan village experience.

Hiriwadunna village, a beautiful rural area in Habarana city. Tour start with a Bullock cart ride near to the village pond & at there you will experience a boat ride to the next side of the rural village. After short walk within the paddy fields & vegetable cultivation you can reach village house. At the village house you can relax & taste a delicious Sri Lankan Lunch.

Habarana/Polonnaruwa

After having delicious breakfast, you will visit Dambulla Cave Temple.

This cave monastery, with its five sanctuaries, is the largest, best-preserved cave-temple complex in Sri Lanka. The Buddhist mural paintings are of particular importance, as are the 157 statues.the Rangiri Dambulla Cave Temple is a living Buddhist site that is focused on a series of five
cave shrines.

En route, You will visit Spice garden which is in Mathale.

Enjoy the Sri Lanka’s world renowned spices at their source. where smells of cinnamons, pepper, cardamom, nutmeg and mace overwhelm the senses and the visitors are provided an insight into an age old industry of spice production.

Enroute, you will visit to Temple of Tooth Relic and for the evening you will have kandyan dance performance for your entertaining.

The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic or Sri Dalada Maligawa, is a Buddhist temple in Kandy, Sri Lanka. It is located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha. The relic was historically held by Sinhalese kings. The temple of the tooth is a World Heritage Site mainly due to the temple and the relic.

Habarana/Kandy

After having delicious breakfast, you will visit Embakke Dewalaya.

The Devalaya in Embekka is dedicated to the worship of Mahasen, popularly known as Katharagama Deviyo. The shrine consists of three sections, the “Sanctum of Garagha”, the “Digge” or “Dancing Hall” and the “Hevisi Mandapaya” or the “Drummers’ Hall”. The Drummers’ Hall that has drawn the attention of visitors to the site, due to the splendid wood carvings of its ornate pillars and its high pitched roof.

Then, you will visit Lankatilaka Temple.

The Lankatilaka temple history runs back to the Gampola Kingdom era. King Buwanekabahu IV has built. The King’s Chief Ministers Senalankadhikara was entrusted to carry out the construction work of this temple. The South Indian architect Sthapati Rayar has designed this with a blend of Sinhalese architecture of Polonnaruwa period and of Dravidian and Indo Chinese style is the opinion of late Professor Paranavitana.

Kandy/Mahiyanganaya

Mahiyanganaya is located in Badulla District close to the Mahaweli River. According to legend, Gautama Buddha made his first trip to Sri Lanka when he went to Mahiyanganaya on the day of the Duruthu full moon poya to settle a disagreement between the Yakkas and the Nagas. Over time, the original golden chethiya was gradually covered by around seven more structures, the last of which was constructed by King Dutugemunu. As a result, this ancient town holds great religious significance for Buddhists.

Mahiyanganaya/Nuwara Eliya

Nuwara Eliya meaning “city on the plain is a town in the central highlands of Sri Lanka. It is one of the major tea producing areas in the world. The tallest mountain in Sri Lanka “Pidurutalagala” is in it. The town was later the ultimate destination for English pastimes such as golf, fox hunting.

Thereafter, you will have city tour while you are enjoying the nature you will visit to the Seetha Amman Kovil.

Hindus worship at the Seetha Amman Temple. In the community of Seetha Eliya (Sita Eliya), the temple is situated. In the Hindu epic, the Ramayana, Sita is said to have prayed everyday for her husband Rama to rescue her at this location, when she was being held captive by the rakshasa king Ravana.

Nuwara Eliya/Katharagama

Kataragama a popular pilgrimage destination frequented by adherents of all religions in Sri Lanka. The main shrine devoted to Skanda popularly described in eulogies as God having six faces and twelve arms whose assistance is sought for worldly gain. The annual procession held in July or August is the main event of the shrine with fire walkers and Kawadi dancers. You will visit Kataragama Temple.

Katharagama/ Negombo

After having delicious breakfast, you will visit Yala National Park.

Yala National Park is the second largest national park in Sri Lanka. The park is best known for its variety of wild animals. There are six national parks and three wildlife sanctuaries in the vicinity of Yala. The park is situated in the dry semi-arid climatic region and rain is received mainly during the northeast monsoon.

Thereafter, you will proceed to Negombo.
